In 1924 Monet Goyon start a new sporty model with a 175cc 2 stroke, the model Z. Equipped with a sporty English 2 stroke Villiers engine with dual exhaust .
After many successes this model become in 1925 equipped with the 'Super Sports TT' engine and later, after successes by the English at the Brookland circuit with 'Brookland TT' Villiers engine. This is the fastest Villiers engine ever made .
With this they were 4 x Champion of France ( 1924,25,26,27 ) , they won 3 x Grand Prix de France (1924 , 25 , 27 , 29 ) , 4 x first place on the Mont Ventoux (1924 , 25, 28 29 ) and no less than 20 world records (1924 , 25 , 29 ) ! All substantially won by the factory riders JANIN Louis , Albert SOURDOT , HOMMAIRE and GAUSSORGUES .
This motorcycle is the first model from 1924 and is identical to the model where Albert Sourdot became 'Champion de France ". Note the logo on the tank (Champion de France vitesse) following their 20 world records was this logo on the 175cc sports models.
This motorcycle has al the special race options: extra hand pump for oil, racing handlebar, double brakes and the race Zenith carburetor.
